Since 1992 the television series of Shinchan is aired in Japan. In Japan the series is known as Kureyon Shinchan (translation: Crayon Shinchan), outside of Japan the series is called shortly Shinchan.

- The Japanese language knows no plurality in language; two episodes are 'two episode', and two seasons are 'two season'. For example the Dutch language knows this as a supplement, also for example 'two year' instead of two years in addition to the plurality wording.
