LUK Internacional is an important Spanish distributor (among Viz Media Europe) based in Barcelona, founded in 1979. The company is famous because of the relations with Japanese companies Tokyo TV and Sunrise. LUK brought to Spain and Portugal famous Japanese series like Doraemon and Shinchan. In addition, it has distributed some series like Reborn!, Keroro Gunso, The Adventures of Blinky Bill, Black Jack, Snoopy, Twipsy and Garfield and Friends, to several Spanish and Portuguese TV channels like TVE, Antena 3, TV3, TVG, ETB, Canal 9 and RTP.
Relations with Crayon Shin-chan[]
Since 2000 Luk Internacional distributes the Crayon Shin-chan series in Spain, and around the same time in Portugal. While Spain used LUK's own dub, based off the original Japanese version, Portugal used the Vitello and Phuuz dubs as basis until the series was moved to the channel Animax and it switched to using a dub based off the Japanese version - much like Spain.
