Keiichi Hara (原 恵一, born July 24, 1959 in Tatebayashi, Gunma, Japan) is a Japanese director of animated films that has directed many of the Crayon Shin-chan movies. His work has won numerous awards and is one of the most influential movie directors and animators in the Japanese anime world.

Keiichi Hara joined Shin Ei Animation, where he worked in Kaibutsu-kun, Obake no Q Taro, and Doraemon. In 2007 he left Shin Ei Animation and started a freelance career. In 2012 he shooted his first first live-action film, Hajimari no Michi. During his career, he has directed more than 20 animation films, including 4 Doraemon ones.

Regardid Crayon Shin-chan series, Keiichi Hara worked in the screenplay, storyboard, direction, OP / ED storyboard and direction between 1996 and 2004. He has been the director of first 13 Shin Chan movies.

Alongside other actors and producers, he got a cameo in a story of the 18th tankobon of the Crayon Shin-chan manga.
